Myself, (your far right) and my buddies, Czerwinski from San Francisco (front center), Crader (center left) Andersen (far left, Las Vegas, NV) and my classmate from high School, Markham (very back, Doniphan, MO), 11th Student Squadron, Flight 1111.

still had those stupid cover-alls, eh? I got rid of mine in Korea, the army motor pool guys loved em!
Actually, those are the old green fatigues, but the picture is so old there is no definition and they look like coveralls. I think this would have been about 3rd week of basic.

About a decade later I was there. There were so many unused buildings we wondered why they had so many. Vietnam. So many more people went through there a decade earlier. It was more of a ghost town around the building we were in.
I was there about 11 years earlier. The place was busy then. We wore the baggy light blue fatigues. Even when they fit they looked like they were way too big.
Lackland is a ghost town now. Many of the dorms are shuttered. Only the newest ones are being used. I was in one of the small dorms by a back gate.
