I saw these on Ebay not too long ago. They were both in the same auction with very little description and no pics of the backs of them. Starting bid was $19.99. Nobody else was bidding so that concerned me and made me think that the experts knew that they were repros. They looked too nice to be original and not get any bids. I studied the pictures for a week and they looked real to me so I decided to throw a bid on them. I threw a bid of $70 on them thinking that even as repro's they were worth something and if original then I would make out great. Won them for the opening price of $19.99 plus $6 shipping.

I was pretty surprised when I received them. The hip holster is Boyt -44- and the shoulder holster is L.M.E. MRT Nov. 1951. The hip holster never had a pistol in it and looks like new and the shoulder holster looks pretty close to new.

I'm glad that I took the chance on them.

You got a great buy. One thing I've noticed about Ebay is that holster prices are down almost 50% on these WWII items, and there are a lot more for sale. A few years ago you had a hard time finding a couple listings, now there are dozens. You have to be careful on Ebay, some sellers are very vague on their descriptions just to deceive, it is best to describe everything in detail. You took a chance and did well. My best deal was two unit histories of my dads WWII unit for less than 20 dollars, they usually go for a couple hundred each if well described.

Martin, we welcomed you to the CSP family but it was suggested by SysAd that you use the buy sell/trade forum to promote your business. I don't think it is useful to try to promote your business on threads having to do with USGI collectable gear unless you have something to offer. Again, there is a place for that. Not trying to be rude ,I'm just saying... Nick
