Jus a note to see if anyone else has had fun with one of these?
A few months ago I was able to get an old Astra 400 in 9MM LArgo.
After looking around locally for some ammo I finally found some at a gun show this past weekend.
All I can say is how happy I am with how this pistol operates and it's accuracy.
It just has that "good feel". Plenty of power but not uncomfortable. And very accurate.
Just sharing.
Have a good winter.

Never had one, never shot one, never even fondled one I don't think, but, I love stories with happy endings. Nicely done!

they are a lot of fun. ammo is getting hard to come by, at least around here. i like to hand mine to someone who never cocked one before and watch them cock it.

They are sort of the Webleys of auto pistols, butt ugly but very well made accurate reliable pistols that are very underrated

Ammo is available from Sarco. They have both corrosive and non corrosive primed and all are berdan primed so you cannot reload it. But the price is cheap for the corrosive primed and I think it was around $160 a thousand but don't hold me to that.
