I have a vintage Weaver K4 scope with early(?) exposed adjustments. The optics are foggy. Can any one suggest a source for repairs?
TIA
Mickey
I believe there is a x employee of Weaver who is repairing them. Don't have info on him. Then there is Parsons scope Service, in Ohio I think. Try to Google Weaver scope repair and Parson's. Be aware however that these people are not cheap and cost may be more then value of scope. There are others but I do not keep track. Try asking question on RimFireCentral, under Mossberg section, have seen referance to a guy in Florida there. Try cleaning the lenses, may just be dirt?
I don't knowif he is still in business, if he is I will send him my old Weaver K-4. frank@weaver-scope-repair.com

I believe the Ex-Weaver employee you mean is Bill Ackerman of Santa Teresa, New Mexico. He would be the one to send the scope to. I had him clean up my 30X Lyman STS last month. Does good work. I'll post his e-mail and phone number from home either tonight or tomorrow.

Here's the info Mickey. Bill's daughter Cheryl is part of the business.
Cheryl Ackerman: (915) 740-4290
cwarring2000@yahoo.com
Bill Ackerman: (505) 589-3833
oscscope@aol.com
Bill was (Amongst others things) the Chief Designer on the old Weaver "T" series scopes.
