As I said in a previous post on this forum our son bought a PSL 54C Romanian Designated Marksman Rifle clone. The rifle performed very well at the range and the geriatric Romanian PSO 'scope was a pleasant surprise.

His rifle only came with one magazine so we decided as part of his birthday present we'd get him some extra magazines.

J&G Sales had 4 magazines in the carrier for $89.00 including shipping. There were all sorts of diclamers about possible torn carriers, rusty magazines etc in the add. They said carriers would either be cloth or vinyl and might be torn.

Well the stuff came in today. The magazines are as new, in fact two are unissued and have never been or a rifle as far as I can tell. The other two are reblued very nicely. The carrier is an absolutely unissued cloth with leather tabs and trim that is absolutely unissued. The tabs have never been snapped shut on it.

Obviously since there are all those disclamers on the add any one else's results may vary but I am VERY happy with this purchase, and we are sure our son will be too!!!

DMark, we are thinking about getting him a 'scope upgrade, perhaps the one you recommended for a combination Christmas/Coming Home from Iraq present.

Now to see how they work!!

Great to hear that you lucked out with the mags. Many of them were stored in humid conditions and have rust so bad that they became a solid mass. :eek:

Also PSL mags often have their springs in backwards and that can cause jams. Here is a link to how they should be installed.
