View Full Version : WW 2 Medic supplies. Does anyone collect this stuff?
I ran into a small supply of Medic supplies that are packaged in small tan boxes and are about 5" by 2 1/2" in size. Might be good for reenactors or for display.
Just what are these "supplies"?

Don't say morphine...don't say morphine...don't say morphine...
Chris
People collect all kinds of stuff. Like Bill D says, what kind of supplies. Should be on the box.
"...don't say morphine..." Yeah. You'd be in possession of a controlled substance. Get you arrested.
sounds like those large bandages carried on the cart. belt in small 'lift the dot' case.

Those are called "Carlisle Bandages" and should be labeled. They are a dime a dozen and not collectible. If something else, please tell us what it is.
They are separately boxed, ammonia inhalants, 4" compress, wire splint, battle dressing, paper cups, 2" compress bandages. Bob.

Yes , they are collectible. A Medic reenactor would love to get these or possibilly the vehicle collectors as these may be the first aid kit refills on those.

I thought so. I would like to see the items go to someone with an interest in showing them.
