Downstairs tonight rummaging around the gun room straightening up, when I happened to notice the writing on my scrap book cover for my time in the Corps. On the 28th of September, 1967 I landed in DaNang for for what turned out to be a 16 month stay in beautiful Chu Lai by the Sea. 44 years ago, damn I'm getting old.

Dan, we probably crossed paths at the Aireal Port, I was coming home at the end of my second tour.Next month,20-23 October,my last unit in V.N.is having our 40th Anniversary Reunion in Savannah, Ga. Remember Dan, it takes courage to grow old!. Welcome home! Nick
