Bought this off a walk in at a local gun show. Everyone was trying to buy his pimped out 10/22, but I got the knife for 150 bux.

Lovely knife. I would love to own one but fearsom as it looks it is not IMHO a very practical knife for fighting. The blade appears to be only good for thrusting, not slashing and as another bit of kit to be carried it is far from a utility knife. Yet it reeks of history and I want one.

This knife was made exclusively for puncturing Germans. Usually through heavy wool overcoats. It worked just fine for that. You got a really nice deal.

Very good buy. Those m1917 sheaths bring $350+ on feebay.

Didn't the Germans cry foul to the Geneva Convention over these? Something about how you cannot stitch the wound close, because of the triangle blade.
