I was surfing and having nothing better to do scoped out fleabay's bayonet offerings.
Someone has a set of brand new original walnut grip scales up for auction.
I had one pair but sold them a few years ago.I was left with 5 RIGHT hand scales all new after my bayonet gig that ran from 1998 to probably 2003 but haven't seen ANY since then.Mind you, I wasn't looking either but was really surprised to see these.
Nothing to do with me but I'll bet the farm that they are "kosher". So many guys have asked me for them over the past ten years that I thought giving a heads up here might be a good plan.
I have two long M1905's one with a bright blade as made and the second, a 1921 SA with it's original parkerized blade.BOTH thankfully have pristine original grip scales. If you need some hop to it.JR
