View Full Version : Winchester Model 61
I picked up a 1937 Winchester model 61 in trade and know nothing about them. From what I have researched so far, it is a standard prewar that shoots S, L & LR and I think it is in good to very good condition, functions fine and shoots fine. The only thing I am not sure of is that the muzzel is flat instead of rounded? I was woundering if anyone can give me an Idea on its value without pics, I can add pics later today
Thanks
Bill
How much is my car worth ??? Where are the pics ???

As our Old Friend always said, ( Mr. Fred Mary ) 1890's,06's, 60,and 61's are worth what you can get for them. His prices always started around $400.00 and went up.
A flat muzzle in the white would be correct for a 1937 DOM for the Model 61.
400 and up? yeh way up! Last year I sold a prisitine Mod.62 for 850 bucks, made in 1958. It was almost as new, only blue wear was on top where bolt slide back and forth, only on one side for some reason. Never see one around here fo less then 500-550 and they are well used.
