NPM carbine questions

A question for the learned members of the group. I'm looking at a NPM M1 carbine this week. I've owned a number of carbines but never a postal. It's one of the first 35000 made by NPM. So what parts should be blued, which parked, and is the park green, grey or black?

I wonder why you don't have Larry Ruth's books War Baby! Most carbines as you may know have been rearsenallized since WWII and not in their original (out of factory) colors or conditions.

Johnny's pictures show nicely what the finish should be on a NPM now. Blued parts would be the bolt ,rear sight spring and most of the internals like triggers and hammers.

Actually I do have Ruth's books but they don't specifically show the color of the parked finish.
