Had to replace a front sight last night.
The sportered sight was on so good I finally cut it on one side with a dremel just to break it free. In the past I had used sockets to install the new front sight and protect the barrel. Last night I used the old cut sight and it worked great. it stays in alignment and doesn't shift or bounce off. I will keep it in my tool kit from now on.
