Nice toy.
In basic training we routinely knocked down torso sized targets at 500 yds with M14s and open sights.
18 year old eyeballs were assets.
You need to take that rifle out and do some real shooting.

I have an M41b and I still cant get over how it shoots. With FGMM 140 gr 1/2" 0r less at 100yds. I can ring a 9" gong all day long at 600 yds. When I got it from SAMCO in Fla, I know it had never been shot because the bolt wouldn't go all the way into lock up, the stock wasnt relived enough...sweet shooter...puts my 03A4 and m1d to shame on group size and optics
