some my favorites...the redstripe 1903 sniper, the carbine 1917. and the Remington M1 serial #1..only thing i cant wonder..if they would ever have a range day....man..thats a bucket list.

Cool site for sure. I'm struck by the variety of metal finishes/patinas on the 03's. Also, on the photo for the 1903 sniper the scope mount arrangement is not one I have seen before.

you can also go on the museums web site, and search weapons, and get info, history ect on each one.

I know the Springfield Armory used to have a "behind the scenes" tour you could go on if you have them advanced "warning" (which, in my case, would be having several guards frisking me on my way out the door!! :D). Don't know if they still do that, or not.
Never been there, but would sure like to do. Thanks for posting the link, Chuck. Now, I have to clean the drool off my keyboard!!
