Finally got around to taking a few shots of the LN '03 I put together to use with my Numrich .22 conversion kit.
Didn't take much time to find a bare LN receiver that was already d & t'd for the Lyman. I wanted a Lyman 48 with a 125 slide, but couldn't beat the price when I found the one that's on there.
The barrel is dated 3-26 and is a sewer pipe! It's probably not doing much for the finish of the Numrich barrel, but it fit the bill.
The Keystone C-stock was about $45 off of fleabay a few years ago. I guess nobody wanted it because of the chunk out of the pistol grip and another small piece gone near the top of the buttplate. It's sound, and I don't mind the "battle scars".
Haven't got around to a serious accuracy test. Right now it's just dialed in for "minute of squirrel".
Bolt is a little stiff when loading a round in the chamber, but it works. When I first put it together it would not fire. Pin wasn't hitting the case hard enough. Ended up replacing the main spring with one from a regular '03 bolt. If I remember correctly, the spring that came with the bolt was longer than a regular one?
