Cleaning out my old storage I've found my M1 spare part collection (except for the stocks, those are stored seperately).

I've numbered them, I can identify some, but some are unknown. Can you guys please help me with the value of one piece each? Those are all USGI parts, some still factory new, some taken off a gun.

Thanks for the help guys, so that would be the corrected list:

1 M1 Carbine front sight
2 M1 Garand, something from the muzzle?
3 M1 Carbine recoil plate screws with nuts
4 M1 Carbine rear sight, later type
5 M1 Carbine recoil plate
7 M1 Carbine trigger
8 Bolt stud for .50 cal???
9 M1 Garand tool, goes with #19
10 Broken shell extractor
11 M1 Carbine bolt disassembly tool
12 Cleaning thongs
13 M1 Carbine gas pistons
14 Firing pin, unknown?
15 M1 Garand trigger housing
16 M1 Carbine buttplate
16 (numbering error) M1 Carbine slides
17 M3 SMG trigger guards
18 M1 Carbine hammer?
19 Patch Holder for chamber cleaning, goes with #9
20 M1 Carbine recoil spring guide/firing pin?
21 M1 Carbine trigger spring removing tool
22 M1 Carbine wrench for piston castle nut
23 M1 Carbine oilers
24 M1 Carbine Magazine release push button
25 Magazine clamp, probably Uzi or M3 SMG
26 Various M1 carbine pins and springs, have a second box of those aswell which I didn't picture
27 M1 Carbine handguards
28 M1 Carbine slings
29 M1928 Thompson Cutts Compensator
30 M1 Carbine flip sights
31 M1 Carbine trigger group

I've also attached a detailed picture of the M1 carbine flip sights (second picture shows them in exactly the same order as in first picture). Can you tell me which of those would be correct for an Inland? Only need one of those, and would love to know which one I should keep!

Number 9 is an M1 Garand tool, 10 are broken shell extractors, 11 is a bolt tool, 16 are carbine slides, 18 are carbine hammers, 20 appears to be carbine firings pin but not 100% sure on those. List the number on the package and we can tell you for sure. 22 is a wrench for the piston castle nut on a carbine. Hope this helps you out. I'm sending you a PM as to values.

I believe number 9 is a part of number 19 which looks to be a M1 Garand M3 combination tool. Number 20 looks to be a Carbine recoil spring guide. Number 11 is a M1 Carbine bolt tool and a Garand M10 cleaning rod handle/combination tool. Number 2 might be a Garand BFA. Number 3 looks to be several Carbine recoil plate screws with nuts.

I've updated the list in the starting post, with great thanks to all of you helping me to identify these parts. Now trying to find a ballpark value for those, just to give me a rough idea of which value I have here. Anyone an idea?

Any of the flip sights with a small s and without any markings on the other side or the flip itself will work for an Inland- except maybe really early serial numbers. Hope this helps. If you want to part with any of the flip sights, let me know, Paul pjalton@oberlin.net
