Does anyone here have any info on this model savage can not find much on line and another forum told me it was never produced

Going to try to restore it to a NAM copy. Wounded if it will slam fire

I think it's the commercial version of the Military 77E. They look pretty much the same but for the martial markings on the 77E.

Whats to restore?

Thought about refinishing the wood and maybe maybe a Park finish. But from the pics it still looks in great shape
And get a front bead for it.

Ok got my 69 RH today from my FFL holder. Issues double feed and the magazine catch is not completely holdinng the rounds in the magazine ...or am I loading it wrong ....thought all pumps load pretty much the same

Any input???

The Savage 69 RH was used in numbers too in Vietnam. The 77e more common ,but both are same shotgun. Mold rotproof black finished short stock ,13" pull. Shorter for the Vietnamese stature. Many MP units used them as well as Pointmen and tunnel rats if there was room to use them. They are very handy in size and reliable close range blaster's. Both were parkerize finished. The statewide police model was blued in finish. Rare today,but for a few hundred surplus National guard 69 RH from Arizona that sold recently!
