That looks like a cast reproduction to me.

I am posting pictures of a known original prong flash hider- I don't want to debate this because I got it in 1971 while in ROTC --So say what you want it is original and it came in this package !!

In my opinion; i would say some one knowingly sold you a $25.00 Repro that gun Parts Company used to sell for more than it is worth !
