Good evening,

Can anyone direct me and /or post photo to show a USGI M1 carbine BFA? If it is like the M14 BFA i.e., two pieces, I may have the rear half that covers the breech; I don't have the muzzle half-----unless I just don't recognize it in my parts drawer... I see the imported one Bill Ricca is showing...I'm pretty sure that's something different. TIA Geoff

I don't recall ever seeing any carbine blanks.

The blank adapters that one finds most often are not USGI. They were made in Europe for the Dutch and German troops post war. There was the USGI T12 Blank Firing Attachment that was approved in July 1945 for training in preparation of the invasion of Japan. But it would appear that it was never used as such before the war ended. It was tested later at Springfield Armory but it seems not much came about with it. It only attached to the muzzle as they were no other parts used with it.
