Weaver K-4 El Paso

I have owned several of these old scopes starting in 1970. I have never seen a Weaver K-4 with a circle P stamp. I have always thought of this mark as being military related... any RKI's here?

Recall reading an articlein the AR, that surplus M1D's were were coming on the market and they were made during the sixties to augment the dwindling inventories, and that they had mounted Weaver K4's. So possibly you MIGHt have one.

Maybe try Caulfield on the AR staff to confirm the "circle P" mark???
