View Full Version : Markings Question
A friend has a bayonet that has the marking of EN (ord cart) S(5) and E_ US on the hilt. It came in a Chinese M& scabbard. Best guesses???
A bunch of these were sold by CMP a few years back. That's where the one pictured below came to me from. Until that time I believe they were considered fairly rare. The ones from CMP came back from Greece but no one could say for sure where they originated. It is not known if it reads "EN 5" or "ENS". As an aside, word was Orest Michaels of CMP said that "E N S " stood for "Everybody's Not Sure". Some did come with a Nationalist Chinese scabbard.
