in small quantities? (namely, 20-40 rounds?)

Looking for some ; .221 Rem Fireball and .222 Remington brass, want to specifically make ammo for use through T/C 10" barrels.

Thanks.

If worse comes to worse you can always make both cartridges from .223 brass. If you should use military brass then reduce your loads by one grain. I think Remington is the only one making brass for the .221 Fireball on a seasonal basis and maybe the .222 also now as the .223 has steadily been pushing it aside.

JJ, Midway USA has some Fireball ammo in stock. Several Manufacturers. Brass for this cartridge is all on back order. Just type in .221 Remington Fireball and then hit the search icon.

Don't buy any brand brass, buy Lapua because it's the best brass today. It is weight consistant and it's manufactured to a higher precise level than any other brass. MidwayUSA is expecting delivery on Jan. 12, 2014. 100 @ 59.95. You will never have to buy brass again, if you load it correctly and keep moderate loads, the 100 rounds will outlast the barrel. The same can be said of the 221 fireball brass! I have 222 Rem. brass, all brands and the Lapua can give well over 50 reloads if annealed occasionally. I know as I have four 40X 222 Rem's, three 722 222 Rem's Rem.'s four Win Model 70 222 Rem's and 2 Rem M700's. As you can see, I collect and shoot 222 Rem's and bought most of them from people who switched to the PPC's years ago as the PPC's took over on the circuits. Rifles that cost back then in the 70/80's over $4,000.00 to build, I picked them up for less than a third of that each. Are they good shooters, they are absolutely incredible for benchrest or dog shooting!

Check out Huntington Die Specialties, they usually have some of everything. Midway and Grafs also seem to have a lot of what might be considered oddball, but .222 is not really oddball, nor is .221 Fireball from the way I see it. Oddball is 8mm Nambu, 9mm Japanese revolver, or the 7.65x20 French. And Huntington has a neat portable press.

Greg,
Yes, the French MAS 35 pistole cartridge is an oddball.
Want a source that won't break the budget, myself.

But,.....try to find Danish 8x85DR!
No, really!
Me want. but not at $5 a case!
