AOK

I picked this up recently. It is a very nice original Type II Remington Rand with Du-Lite Finish. This pistol has it's original Springfield barrel, the wear on the barrel matches the wear on the slide. See pics:

The pistol is not perfect it has some high edge wear but overall I think it's pretty nice. What do you guys think?

Thanks! Paul

ps I tried to put the pics in a sensible order but photobucket was giving me trouble!

Very nice pistol AOK. It's the highest SN with the "No." prefix I have seen so far; the lowest "NO" I have notes on is 971xxx. Interesting that it has a Springfield barrel; I wonder how high the SNs go that had some Springfield or Colt barrels.

This one should lower your "NO." prefix serial number. Type III slide and phosphate finish, but all original.

Johnny, I forget about your very unique variant Type III; you have a real gem with that one :-). Guess I should have said lowest Type II NO.
