Now's your chance to own a WW1 sniper rifle, I think I'm going to pass on this gem. Have at it I know someone out there has deep enough pockets. I wouldn't have the guts to ask that much for this. You can see were the scope blocks have been plug and redrilled.

[Marine A5 Sniper Rifle]

A really poor joke. Wrong forearm cut, wrong serial number, double stamped cartouche, missing a specific marker, one too many stock bolts, and wrong scope mounts. There is not one single thing indicating this rifle was ever used by the Marines, and certainly nothing about it indicates a sniper rifle. I hope no one is dumb enough to buy this nonsense. Even the story is wrong. The Marines had over 1000 sniper rifles for two regiments. Hardly a "few".
