Photo show the two stock bolt stock, the single stock bolt stock and the early stock without stock bolts. The early no bolt stock was not modified but manufactured in this configuration

Some photos for Pete Davis, this rifle came from the estate of an old single man that worked in a hardware store for years. He picked-up a lot of 22 rim fire rifles and shotguns, this Rock Island 1903 was the only center fire. When I saw the rear sight leaf with the square slide I decided to buy it outright, the 3-07 barrel has a mint bore, the wood is not original to the rifle as it should have a no-bolt stock and flat top handguard

Rick - The handguard doesn't seem to show a "flat-top" in the photo. Any signs of it being sanded?
