I could use a little education about how to correctly identify a Smith Corona trigger. Here are my assumptions, please tell me where I am inaccurate:

1. Assumption: SC triggers are smooth and of similar “chunky” profile as a Remington 03A3 trigger
2. Assumption: SC triggers are unmarked
3. Assumption: SC triggers were originally issued as blued on the bottom like the Remington 03A3
4. Assumption: There were no design changes (to the trigger) during SC production

Thanks!

Going from memory, Assumptions 1, 2, and 4 are correct. Assumption 3 is not.

Thank you! By extension then I speculate that on number 3 the trigger would have originally been (multiple choice quiz)

a) blued top to bottom
b) fully parked
c) unfinished other than color variations due to heat treatment
d) none of the above (fill in the correct answer)_____________
