View Full Version : some nice figured handguards
Most handguards are very plain and it is difficult to find SA handguards with some fancy grain
The rifle with the GAW cartouche is a 2.4 mil SA and the other is a SA 38K rebuild with a SA 8-41 bbl
Those ARE nice. Are they yours?
Yes, they wood is G.I. too
Here is a photo of a Winchester handguard - this handguard has all the features of a Winchester handguard

To bad they don't match the stock. Marbled wood looks great
they do match the stock, but the stock is not in the photo. The above photos (you should read the posts) show a SA 2.4 mil rifle (the one with the SA GAW cartouche and a 38K SA rifle with a S-A 8-40 bbl rebuild. Then the last photo (are you following ?) shows the Winchester marbled handguard but without any Winchester stock

my, my, aren't we touchy. Yes, I am following your post and did read it. Still, to bad the SA stocks don't match the handguards.
some photos of SA 38494 rebuilt with a S-A 8-41 barrel, seems to match the handguards to some degree ?
The 2.4 million SA stock also matches the handguards too
stock doc, being such a knowledgeable wood worker with an eye for nice stock wood, perhaps you could share a few photos of some stocks you have made for rifles - either from a solid blank or semi inletted. It wood be nice to share your work with a few photos even if not M1 rifle related.

So you are saying these were carve from a blank by you, or are the a semi inletted stock that you did, I thought you said they were USGI. Now I am not following you. Why all aggression, I just said you handguard looked nice? Not a very friendly forum.

What is your problem? you have had hemorrhoids since you first replied to one of my answers. You go all ballistic because I said the hand guards were nice. Sorry for the complement , I take it back they look like wood from an outhouse door. Make you feel better.
And in answer to you question, per contract I am not allowed to post pictures of Client guns without their approval first. and I am certainly not going to ask them because some no name is having a hissy fit on a forum.
stock doc your all mouth - just a fast talking poster on this forum that will make all kinds of excuses NOT to show his work.
