I posted two boxes of NM 1939,1940 on the fore sale forum for $50.00 each is this a
fair price?

I usually do not like to comment on values, but since you asked:

It's hard to tell from your photo if the cartons are still sealed. The shrink-wrap covering them can hide seams that have been opened. Good clean, sealed cartons of 39 and 40 NM can be found for around $30 to $35 if you are patient. I collect US Match and I would not pay more than $25 for a carton, but I'm not a typical buyer.

Add $15 shipping for each carton, or $20 for both.

That's my opinion.

What are sealed cartons of Lake City 1962 Match (.30-'06, not .308) going for these days? It has dried up at the shows. Thanks.

Cal .30 Match M72 manufactured by LC in 1962 is the most common of all. More than 100 lots were manufactured. You should be able to find individual boxes for $25, and $20 or less if you buy it in quantity. The auction sites like GunBroker and AuctionArms is where you can still find it. Patience is the key word when buying any of the old US military ammunition, whether Match or standard issue. If you absolutely have to have it today, you will pay a premium. But, that's no different than buying anything else, I suppose.
