found a bunch of Garands

I have been gathering information as i am looking to buy a Garand and came across an auction in Florida that has a bunch coming up as well as hunting rifles,

Glancing through the list, the starting prices looked good. It's worth looking into.

In the movie To Hell and Back starring him, He carried the Garand, Carbine & Thompson at different points of the movie.

Very short and in basic but he adapted to his Carbine quickly due to his size as he said. No where is the Garand he used in a museum. Rick B

"...Did Murphy carry a Garand..." PBI. Carried what he was told to carry until he could 'acquire' what he liked. Any PBI type would want a Carbine over an M1 Rifle. Weighs less.

According to his book, Murphy carried the weapon he considered appropriate to the mission. One of his carbines is in the museum at Fort Stewart.
