I want a transferable/registered AR15 conversion lower. I don't have a lot of cash but I do have a little plus these extraordinary rifles to trade. These are Type 1 National Match M1s manufactured in 1958 for use in 1959 competitions. I have sales record documentation from the CMP for both of them. They feature characteristics unique to that year. They are the ONLY known DOCUMENTED Type 1 NMs with CONSECUTIVE serial numbers known to exist in a private collection outside of a museum. They are also some of the highest known SN Type 1s. The highest recorded M1 SN is 6100499 which is also a Type 1 National Match. The lower SN (6099665) is in 98% condition and has seen light use. It has a 1958 dated MRT marked 1907 pattern leather sling and upgraded NM sights which were permitted in 1959. The other rifle is UNFIRED since manufacture. It is flawless except for some minor handling marks in the stock. It is in 100% as manufactured condition and features a new 1958 dated canvas sling. They were slated to be featured in a 2007 issue of the Garand Collector's Association Journal but I withdrew the article due to some artistic differences. The link below will take you to the photos that were taken for that article. I will email a .docx copy of the article to serious parties. Again, my primary purpose for offering these rifles is to obtain a full auto AR15/M16 lower. To that purpose I will put trade offers ahead of purchase offers. They are only available as a pair. I will not separate them. If you wish to purchase them the price is $15,000 in certified funds and I will arrange for a face-to-face transfer in OK or contiguous states. If you are a resident of a state other than Oklahoma you must possess a valid FFL (C&R is ok) or be willing to supply a third party 01 FFL who will accept these rifles from a non-FFL and transfer them to you.
