SRS info on Colt 1911A1

Can I get some info on a Colt 1911A1 1943 mfg, serial 1201676,, SRS (Mulligan) told me a few years back that it was an OSS issued pistol, for China service, I can not seem to get them any more, anyone else have their records on Colts? Thanks

Dan,

It is not in the SRS book/list (as of approx. 2000). There are many pistols above and below your number that are OSS. (e.x. 605 and 687 are OSS CBI 08/03/45) This most likely means yours is not OSS (not on the OSS records that SRS had at that time).
