Like to post new-to-me photos on occasion. This one's nice. At first I counted 40 M1903s. Look again...it's 80!

Wow, thanks! Most of the bolts that are near enough to tell seem to have non swept back handles.

Look like high hump hand guards too.

There's one rifle missing from the lower rack and there are 11 rifles that don't have High Humps.

What's the thing he is working on?

Belt-fed ammo loader? Or, part of the feed mechanism, bolt of a 1919 MG?

He is working on an aircraft Browning ANM2 .30 cal . The backplate with the spade grips is resting in front of the gun . The shape of the grips and the smallness of the reciever tells me it's an ANM2 . There is some sort of muzzle extension I'm not familiar with .
What's really nice is the mint Singer .45 in the holster on the table.

I was looking at the rack of spare parts by the door.

The rifle in the upper rack with the swept back bolt also has the cocking piece pulled back.

On second look, it appears to be a North American Arms!

What impresses me is that there is probably not one item in that room that is made overseas. Everything is either steel or wood. No ersatz, no crap.

Makes me sad to see how we have progressed. Sure we have cheap products and a "higher standard" of living but we have cheap products and is the standard of living really that much higher?
