This isn't a military knife, but hope someone can answer a question on this little KaBar. I collect knives, and bayonets (mostly military, but also have several civilian knives). Awhile back, I picked up this little gem. A KaBar "Little Finn". I think it is from around the 1950's. I know they still offer this knife, but they are made in china. My question is, when did they introduce the "Little Finn"? And were they made in USA back then, and when did they start making these in China? This one has "USA" on it, but as we know, that doesn't always mean "Made in USA". Can anyone help date this? And know if this was actually made in USA?

Try over at the knife forum, they might be more forthcoming. All I can find out is they've been popular since the early 1900s. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/817347-KA-BAR-Little-Finn

They might be able to tell you more about your saber too...

It's overseen by folks at KA-BAR and some of the followers have been collecting for a long time.
