Saw one at a show yesterday, the guy selling it wasn't sure what he wanted for it, but he did if that makes sense. Looked to be all put together, but obviously reblued to a mirror finish. 1930 production I think, came with 2 two tone mags and was USP marked. I had no clue what a fair offer would be, he had arrived at 1600 somehow which seemed entirely too much. Maybe if the finish was original. I thought maybe 700 would be fair but I didn't want to offend him after he threw out that number. I just wonder if my offer was fair, I know the collector value would be little but I'd be interested in adding a shooter 1911 to the collection if the price was fair.
