Did you buy it or sell it? I would really like to know what it went for...
Do tell.
Selling it..would like to buy a gun that needs one.
I have only seen two for sale in 25 years of collecting and bought both.
The other is on my 37.

What is a general rule on values on these? I am looking at one that is described as:
Original heat shield for the Ithaca Model 37 trench shotguns, marked on the right side of the extension "SP-30-06". Original parkerized finish shows minor wear. Missing one clamping screw and the sight bead, overall very good original condition otherwise.,
Curious what I would expect it to be worth, over what they are asking.

Just my opinion on this one - I'd say the$595 they're asking for it is near the actual value if it had all the screws and the sight bead.

I think the originals were all blued, none parked. This one has the original bluing. GB455927815. Where did you see a $595 asking price? I'll bet you won't get near the reserve till you see a bid over 3K !

The $595 was for a parkerized handguard only.
