Hello, Bolt has an "F" over "SA" under the handle and REM8620 on the top of the handle.
Also; Are "BF" bolt bodies of any interest?
Thank You!

Your bolt, marked "REM 8620" atop the handle, was manufactured at Springfield Armory circa 1944. The "F" is a subinspection mark and the "SA" is the manufacturer's mark.
I have a collection of BF bolts and a data base of markings. But I'm always looking for more data and possible additions to my collection.
Thanks! And Happy Holidays!

Thank You, Is the SA bolt correct for a REM 1903A3? Or is it a replacement part?
The BF bolt has "BF" over "46" and a punch mark under the handle. Probably never in a gun. If you want it mail me your address, I have no plans for it!
Thank You

I regret to advise that your bolt, marked "REM 8620", is not original to a Remington M'03-A3. The "REM 8620" bolt was manufactured as a spare replacement part for use in overhaul and is original to no rifle except one that has been arsenal overhauled. Remington M'03-A3 bolts are marked with an "R" underneath the handle.
I will PM you my address. Thanks! And Happy Holidays!
