You have a very nice rifle. It appears freshly overhauled, re-barreled, refinished, and re-assembled from mixed parts. It should be an excellent shooter.

Is that a crack on the underside of the stock?

The mark in the flat area of the stock is crack; however, as best I can tell it's not deep its a hairline and about as deep almost a scratch.. I'm considering picking up a Type C for shooting and keeping the original for display/originality.
