HRA-HART Trigger group questions

What serial number range used the HRA-H trigger group, and would one of these have a SA hammer? Thanks.

It would be very early in their first block of numbers and yes, it COULD have an SA hammer in it.

I am not sure when they quit using them it but would probably would have been in most of at least the first couple thousand.

I recently received 2 HRA SG's from the CMP. One was 4.7 million, one was a 4,666,xxx. The first had a CMP stock, an HRA bolt and Op rod and an SA trigger group. The 46 mil rifle had a very good GI SA stock and handguards, an HRA-H trigger group, and an SA op rod and bolt. Five minutes later, the 4.66 had all HRA parts except the SA stock. Both rifles were in very good condition with almost 0 wear on the metal. I am a very happy guy. The wife said to "go buy a few more if you want, the $ isn't doing any good sitting in the bank. 40 years together, gotta love that. A "KEEPER"

If the operating rod on that 4.66m HRA was a WWII-era SA op rod, you might want to put it back, because the 4.66m HRAs came from the factory with an SA-3, SA-6, or SA-9 op rod. They also came with an early SA or Win op rod catch and a round front clip latch. Hope the SA bolt wasn't an SA-19, because those were sometimes found on original 4.66m HRAs. The Hart trigger group would have also had an SA hammer.
