M1/M2 Carbine Type VI Slide ID Help

I have a M2 Carbine type VI Slide that has the correct DWG # under the box but no makers marks anywhere, any idea who made these, looks like a post war replacement.

Carbine parts were made by everybody and his brother all over the Eastern seaboard. Of the 9 original manufacturers, none made all the parts. So it could have been made anywhere.

Look very closely inside the box. It could be a Winchester. Often the tiny W is almost invisible hiding in the tools marks.

Slides were made as late as Viet Nam. Those would not have a makers stamp on them. Then it could be a commercially made slide too as M2 carbines were made by Plainfield.

If machining is very rough on the inside, keep looking it is probably a Winchester. Number on the bottom should end in 43. If it ends in 41 it is recut M1 slide.
