Shooter, shooter, shooter........... it is not nice to tease a semi-senile, bald headed, old fart about M1 Garands............. That being said, any positive news on these, is great to read... let us hope that it comes about........ Thanks hand.

This has been brought up already...............it appears to be from 2012......... at least that is what the date on it says.
So the story is long since dead.....................

You don't really think Obamma's group would let this happen, do you?

If they are anything like the Blue Sky Garands that came in many years ago, You will want to pass on them.

There were a lot of interesting parts that came in with those Blue Sky guns. I found one Winchester that was serial number 100020 which makes it one of the educational orders. Unfortunately I didn't buy it as I was a dummy at the time and the receiver exhibited heavy sand blasting (barely readable).

I'd like to see the guns brought back, but I'm not holding my breath. Even if conservatives get back in power they have a poor history of reversing Presidential Executive Orders.

This was going to happen back in January 2012 BUT when the Hildabeast got wind of it she had the State Department protest to the White house and our spineless Pres decided it wasn't a good idea after all. So he said no to bringing them into the country. I was told that Century International had all the financing lined up and the Korean government was going to sell them to CIA when the Hildabeast said no. Now the sale of the carbines was cancelled because they would have come with a magazine over 10 rounds. They could have shipped them without any magazines and sold them that way too. But it was just another excuse not to allow the rifles into the country. I am hoping after November 2016 that the new President who will hopefully be a Republican will allow them in.

Half a million carbines? Wow, that would shake thing up. Unfortunately, I'm well aware of the condition in which most of those rifles likely are. Still, there would probably be a lot of interesting parts, if not much else.

How I would love to be wrong, but Buckwheat and company are NEVA, EVA gonna allow this and the Hildab!tch would die a thousand deaths first. Go to Canada and stand on the shores of the Pacific so you can wave at them as they go by on the way to our northern brothers in arms.
