beautiful 1917 1911 holster question?

I was given this fine hoslter with one BIG flaw, the metal belt attachment hook is gone! does anyone know a way or someone that can install a hook in this hoster?

Do you have a hook? If you do or can get one I would contact a professional holster maker, preferably, one who makes repros of these, and talk to him. They probably would have the hooks too. I would guess (with out looking at mine) the stitching would have to be taken apart and redone.

I had one that fell into my duffel bag at end of deployment. Traded it for some tools that I needed at the time.

Don't forget, only brass would be correct for a 1917
