I used to have the WW2 stock in the first clip . Sold it a few years ago for $1,000 . Had a very nice example of the Korean scope kit with stock , sold it last year for $2500.
The spotting / aiming point on mine was just a vertical bar , much like a front sight post floating on the screen.

I went through basic in Fort Dix, NJ in the Spring of 1961. I remember being herded into a hall at one point, so that we could be awed by a demonstration of "seeing through a scope in the dark." We were suitably impressed.
