The close up pictures of Cooper's .22 Hornet on the previous post show that it was built on the M1922M1 .22 caliber Springfield. This is consistent with the G&H ad appearing in the January 1931 American Rifleman. The following is quoted from that ad: "We will rechamber your .22 L.R . Springfield for the .22 'Hornet' cartridge, change the bolt from rim-fire to center fire, and re make the extractor for $15. For building in .22 'Hornet' cartridge magazine , to give perfect service , our price is #15."
