Hi Folks,

I've got 30-06 and .308 ammo that I won't be moving (again). I purchased this ammo while living in CA during the late 90s. Anyone know what this ammo is worth?

Details-
*I purchased the 30-06 ammo from the CMP while the .308 ammo was purchased from a fellow gun club member.
*Both ammo types come in en bloc clips, with the cardboard bullet protectors, in the cloth, in ammo cans.
*30-06 ammo is mostly LC67, with a little bit of LC66 too. I'll need to check though once I clear out more space in the garage.

Anyway, thank you for any info ...

thanks again and cheers,
phil

Lake City is great stuff... and unless there is visible corrosion, deformities, or some other problem, it should be just fine to shoot. Save the brass! LC brass is about as good as you can get. I've purchased some LC rounds recently: 40 rounds in enblocks that I paid around $40 for at a gun show... and another 40 rounds in original boxes for $40 at the same show. FWIW, you can purchase 200 rounds loose in an ammo can of the HXP 30-06 from the CMP for $120... and HXP is great stuff too.

How much of the 30-06 do you have?
