Springfield 1903 mk1. The ser no is 1,171,xxx and it has a sa 4-20 barrel. It retains most of the parkerized metal finish with no pitting. The bore is beautiful mirror bright with excellent rifling. No rust or pitting. I dont have a guage but the bullet test shows the muzzle to have very low wear if any at all. Headspace ckecks out good. It retains the mk1 stock with the cut out for the pederson device. There is a very faint cartouche remaining. You have to look close but you can see part of the rectangle box and some lettering. The proof marking on the pistol grip is there and is more pronounced. The magazine cut off is the proper mk1 type . As far as the other mk1 parts i dont know because i dont know what to look for. There are some nicks and scratches and handling marks on the stocks that are normal and acceptable. There are no sanding marks, cracks, additional holes or major defects. This is a nice sound solid rifle in very good condition that has been well cared for . I dont know how to post photos here but i can send photos to anyone who is seriously interested. The price is $875
