Was that the peep hole in the original rear sight drift .040? If so where would I find one?

.04, .05, .06 are also documented sizes. There may be more. I think .05 was most typical.

I have never seen .04 marked but have seen them marked .05, .06 and .08 the USMC .10 is not marked

Also seen the .05 lined out and restamped .06
