Sorry no hit. Two out of the three closest numbers are to USMC.

Sedgely barrel dated 9-41 w/ vise marks, and a rusted stippled buttplate. Gas escape holes both sides-small on rhs, larger on lhs. rear sight has been disassembled at some point(slide tension screw missing)sights are RIA by the 7s.

sounds like a pretty darn nice piece, leanin toward the marine rifle side
