WTB Early type M16/AR15 upper Receiver.

I'm thinking about building a early type AR15 like I carried in RVN in 1967.

Does anyone have, or know where I could get a upper receiver like we had back then.

I'll have to use a modern lower but that's OK with me. I have several to choose from.

I have one I would sell although its the A2 style with adjustable windage and elevation . It is in new condition.

I may still have an M16A1 upper without the barrel stashed away that I got from Sarco some years ago. I may also have a set of early A1 handguards too. I'll take a look over the weekend and if I can find them, I'll PM you.

I carried one of those back in '67 too, except mine was a shorty XM177.

Did you ever find that upper and Handguards?

If so, what are you asking for it/them?

Had a CAR for a while too, but was transferred and changed to a full sized M16.
