shows promise.

100 yard target.

Lee hollow based mold 60 grains of WC872.

cartridges made in haste.

next batch I will be more persnickity with, make sure that the COAL is constant. I had but a short window with which to get to the range.

This was fun. Tried selling this rifle for the $610.00 I have in it. Got no takers and I'm just as glad. I won't say how much 872 I have, let's say I have a lot. With this load I can shoot for pennies. May up the charge just a little see if the groups tighten up and If I get a cleaner burn. Really, it wasn't bad at all. I'd just blow in the chamber between shots to get rid of the few un-burned grains of powder.

Try black powder, it's way more fun.

Don't know how many rounds I have loaded up in the basement with 70 grains black powder. Several hundred I'd guess. Can't argue, the blackpowder is fun BUT This particular load of smokeless is cheap and I'd say more fun than the Blackpowder. Shoots well, doesn't foul the barrel, and it's easier to clean the brass.

Did I say how cheap this load is to shoot?

I love shooting the blackpowder but I'm going to enjoy my shooting time with this load as well.
