Greeting:

Can anyone supply links to some gun stores that happen to have some full gi m1903's that are in shootable condition?

Not the low serial RIA or Springfield Armory pre-WW1 ones, a good clean rifle that's safe to shoot. The rifle can be a mix-master. There's been exactly one in the local area, but it's a low-serial no Springfield Armory one, and I do want to be able to shoot safely.

I don't know where you live in Florida Richard but down here in the se area there haven't been any 03's for a few years in gun shops. I have been on occasion buying from gunbroker. Not even the gunshows here have rarely any and the one or two are way overpriced.

Gun stores have no place to order 'em from. Gun shows would be better. A 'WTB' post on the For Sale/Wanted
forum might work.
.gunsamerica.com is another option to Gunbroker. You have to know the rifle though.

Argh, I just sold a late 03A3 for a buddy, not a gun guy, who is moving out of state. Check your local classifieds, sometimes it can be a fun hunt. I never see them in the gun stores here, the gun shows have them but they're usually overpriced. Our local gun online classifieds, http://utahgunexchange.com/, has had them, that's how I found the guts of my vintage sniper. I hope you have something similar in Florida.
